My thoughts
the 110cc mid size pocket bikes are different. I don't know of anywhere that people race them and I'm not sure of anywhere you can ride them at all. But putting that aside. These bikes are good in that they are truly a small motorcycle with most of the same controls. It's a more involving ride and responds like a real motorcycle because of the requirement to change gears and suspension reaction along with the increased weight.

Power is umm average. They are slow. about 5 - 6hp tops. I have raced one and it accelerated only barely quicker than my modified 49cc CAG of the time. The edge however in a higher average acceleration through the gears up to the bike's top speed. In other words. You get to spend more time in the peak torque / power band for longer through all of the gears.
The engine design is loosely based on that of the Honda CT110 if memory serves me correctly and there is plenty of power up options in the way of pit bike engine parts. But that still doesn't help you if you have nowhere to ride it.

And Moey. Can you please stop making these new threads. I know your trying to figure out what bike to get or where to go but it's cluttering the forum up. Please try keep it in one thread.

NO but you have understand that there are kits like Takegawa that make engine like YX 150 22+hp and are kinda reliable by what people have been saying. OK a Euro bike is like what $3k+. If you spend 3K on an X18 with the right parts it would eat a Euro bike and they are manual so you have alot of control over the bike. I know Euro handle very good in corners becuase they are small and thats what makes them fast, they're zippy. Another thing is that a 180cc 4 Stroke will hadle alot more pressure than a 39cc or 50cc watercooled 2 stroke. More reliable, more powerful, less rebuilds. In my opinion I would feel very sorry for a 39cc 2 Stroke with a 220lb guy on it (not me, I'm not 220lb), as much power it can get say 10hp it doesn't matter its small and weak and hopeless where as a 180cc 4 Stroke is strong, tough, powerful. Its like a 2 LTR 4 CYL evo or wrx with 900hp and twin turbo, its ridiculous, its gonna last what 2 days whereas a 5.4LTR KENNE BELL SUPERCHARGED MUSTANG V8 WITH 900HP thats believable.

That's all and good if you want to ride on the streets but most of us race and you have to stick to the racing classes.

THATS SO TRUE. The biggest problem with these bikes is that there aren't many racing classes for them if not non (I don't know I rarely race) and you'd have to either organise a track day yourself or enjoy them on the street where you can play cat and mouse with the cops (mind you cat and mouse with the cops is VERY VERY FUN AND THRILLING, TRUST ME I'VE DONE IT, better than any racing you'll ever do cause its so dangerous and unpredictable and each street, pathway, creek you go in is different).
