Forum Racers

There are 758 registered forum members on this site.

I would like to know how many are forum racers and how many are real racers?
I am trying to evaluate racer numbers and where they are in the country.
This information may be able to assist with the growth of our sport.

you are definately wrong. This info may be used in the very near future to help convince Kart track owners around the country that Mini motos (pocket bikes) are to be part of their race track clientel. Look at the bigger picture. There is more to mini moto racing than just talking about racing and things. People have big plans for this sport. Your initial help is greatfully accepted even though you might not think that way.

Wizzar you are right in your way of thinking unfortunately here in NSW we have bullshit 18th century laws that for the time being don't allow us to race and getting racing properly organised seems to be as easy as being a one legged asskicker, mind you not from a lack of trying from various people. It seems that the one thing that stops Kart tracks is INSURANCE costs so inturn the track owner would have to pass on the costs to the riders and all of a sudden it costs you more to ride than your bike is worth! There are a few track ownerswho are taking the risk and letting riders ride on there track but as soon as someone gets seriously hurt, and I hope that it never happens then these track owners will be in for a surprise. Now to answer your pole I try to get to an indoor track at least once a week and although it's not the quickest track, its very tecnical and we have fun duelling it out

Hi Guys

Wizzar is dead right. This feedback is really important to the growth of the sport.
If you are in areas where racing does not exist and you would like to get into it, let people know where you are from. This will build a profile of numbers and suitable track owners might just sit up, take notice and get something going.
For S.E. Queenslanders, If you want to get into racing but feel you don't have experience, confidence, or bike knowledge to start, Parklands and They guys who are establishing the Pocket Boke Association Australia (PBAA) have got together and will be running rider training courses at Parklands Monday nights FREE OF COST - So answer the poll, place your comments and if you are in the area, PM or Email me and we can get you up and running 8)

Cheers
Alan
