Question Cag Pocket Bike for a frist bike??

hello, im looking into buying my frist pocket bike to learn on.

I am 18 and 135 lbs 5'9
I been working on gopeds for a long time and I would love to work on pocket bikes...

I am thinking of getting a Cag Daytona Pocket Bike to learn on (picture below), and some people been telling it is a awsome bike to learn on and some are telling me it is way to slow or "crap" bike

What should I buy for my frist bike??

thanks :]

p.s here a photo of a cag daytone pocket bike im thinking of getting

cags are a good cheap first bike

some of the mods you should look at are a decent pipe genuine jet pro, or jet pro replica or a fat boy kit , A decent carby like a genuine walbro WT-603 or walbro replica or genuine dellorto 14/14 dellorto replica depending on your budget , i prefer to go genuine with carbs

a boost ported headkit & set of quality reeds are a good upgrade, but need the pipe & carb to get full potential from them

some dealers do a great value package with everything included.
you could try ozminimoto they will ship overseas

this is more a aussie based forum so i cant really advise you on dealers in the USA

daves motors is based in the US & have been a reliable dealer for shipping to australia so that would be the only website i could suggest but you must specify what engine you have to order the correct parts.
As for PBU & ADA they are overpriced & i personally would not buy from them.

if you want top quality Zoccie make alot of parts for cags & are top quality

i hope this info helps

a full faring cag i bought for my kids without knowing they are not suited for kids 4 & 6 yo, so i kept it for myself & got a cag dirtbike & miniquad to keep the kids happy

we dont have a track to race on so cags were a good cheap option for fun in the dirt.
The full faring cag only gets used every once & a while when i can find a safe place to ride, but its my toy they can become addictive once you own & start working on them
