Need a new bike....Cag cheap

OK guy's, I'm gonna get a second Cag cause I cant find a frame and a few other parts. I need help from you experienced guy deciding whats gonna be a descent bike for a cag. I ordered one from PBU and when it arrived I was shocked. My 2 year old can weld better than that. It was grossly cheap looking so I think I'm gonna send it back. Bike #2 is what showed up from PBU.

Bike #1 eBay Motors: > NEW 49cc Pocket Bike Gas Mini RACE Scooter Dark Ninja (item 260171462435 end time Oct-16-07 09:10:25 PDT)

Bike #2 eBay Motors: NEW 47CC TWO-STROKE HIGH PERFORMANCE POCKET BIKE NR (item 110180315889 end time Oct-15-07 16:32:41 PDT)

Bike #3 eBay Motors: NEW 49cc ZEIMINI MINI GAS POCKET BIKE SCOOTER (SS) (item 190162486269 end time Oct-15-07 17:30:38 PDT)

Bike #4 eBay.ca: Red & White 49cc GAS MINI Pocket Bike Ship Canada/USA (item 190162444921 end time 15-Oct-07 20:45:00 EDT)

I didn't realize there were so many frame styles. Any advice on which one of these might have the strongest and safest frame? And what else I should look for? Thanks all.

the cags from pbu arent built by pbu, so dont bag them..
they buy their cags cheap from a factory in china called mainbon.
i was going to start importing cags from there but the quality isnt great

If you look at PBU's site, it shows four bikes, two with red/white paint in the middle. I took a look at that picture and thought it was the L7, it was also 50 dollars more than the other cags down on the page.

I cannot find any L7's here in the states. Does anyone have any links?

Thanks Mac, very helpful site. I'll be bookmarking that one.

Sikko, I know the four bikes are all L7's, just different colors. However if you scroll down a little further on the main PB page, they show the '08 Cags and a few others. The bike I got was nothing like anything they have on this page.
Not to bag on them or anything, but I ordered this. It looks like the L7 from what I could tell from the photo. The price is $299. I called them and they said they haven't sold that bike in a few years.
FULL-FAIRING-BIG-BORE-CAG

This is what I got. (I pulled this pic off ebay, but same style) I can find these on every corner around town for $180. It also wasn't the big bore as advertised.
eBay Motors: NEW 47CC TWO-STROKE HIGH PERFORMANCE POCKET BIKE NR (item 110180315889 end time Oct-15-07 16:32:41 PDT)

Steller, Hell yea! It's my first bike and I love it. I don't race yet so I don't know all the pro's and con's yet, but It's the most realistic one I've seen without having to fork out $500 plus. Maybe some day. I have a couple of frame issues and would like to replace the frame, or buy another if I could find one. Nobody sells just frames or even complete L7's that I've contacted so far. By chance, do you have any links to some places that may?

the one you bought off pbu is meant to be a L7, so call pbu and complain..

i know your from usa but
This is my opinion as a Aussie member not mod , or talking up our webpage sponsers

My thoughts & mine only

I don't like to bag but it seems PBU USA is not looking after its customers from Australia OR USA ??
I know of a couple of other aussie blokes who have delt with them, & who have ordered one part & ended up with something totally different.

Its seems you don't always get what you pay for ?

Using the Aussie dealers & sponsors of this site sometimes you pay a little more,
Some of them carry PBU Ada BZM Polini parts etc... , but the thing is U usually get what you ordered & they are usually happy to fix any mistakes made in ordering & or shipping the wrong part ...
MY 2 Cents worth & moral of my soapbox rant is for us aussie members support the Aussie dealers!!
