50cc for Blata Elite WR

One of the guys racing here, in South Africa, wants to race in the open class on his WR. Our classes are hp rated, and in open class anything goes.

He wants to increase the bike to 50cc and the two options I see are, BZM stroker crank and barrel OR the 50cc kit as per Blata USA and possibly a Blata race clutch. Anyone had any experience in fitting either?

From what I see the BZM kit needs modifications to the exhaust and cases to work.

What are your views?

thanks
Richard

i would only recommend the BZM 50 cc race kit.
also fit the blata victory race kit.
for info contact "OZMINIMOTO.COM.AU"

i have fitted the blata 50cc kit from canada and had to do many mod's, and had overheating problems.

the BZM kit is much better and easy to fit, contact me if you want further details on the application.

thanks, john

The Blata 50cc Kit would eliminate every other bike on the field if you could make it last, without it blowing up! On the other hand, the new Blata BZM KIT, A 50CC 6-PORT! Is a great package if you want a massive increase of power.
Cheers

Both kits will need crankcase mods and both kits work very well.
The BZM kit will need exhaust mods to fit the exhaust.

Which ever way you go, both will give a large increase in power.

We at Oz Minimoto are in the process of designing our own kit, but this is still awhile off from even a testing.

Hi Darren

What will the costs be on both of these kits and shipping to South Africa. He will need this in November sometime in preperation for next years racing.

Cheers
Richard
