Excellent base for a race bike. Totally interchangeable with Euro parts. Main problems to be sorted from stock are the squish and the clutch which affect its performance out of corners. The stock cylinder uses a 3-layer gasket instead of o-rings between the cylinder and head which raises the squish to 1.7mm. The clutch springs are too soft to be set to engage at 8500rpm so need to be replaced with heavy springs. Other than that the Banshee has heaps power and a reputation of best bike out of China and holds it's own against the Euro boys.
Edit: I think they're between $650 and $750 for a new one. Call Zuma or go to Zuma Power Products Australia - Motorcycles, ATVs, Dirt Bikes, Generators

Clutch springs are like $20 or less for a good euro pair. Uhh in regards to the head problem I'm not sure as I just replaced mine with a euro headkit. Shouldn't cost too much to have it machined. $799 is steep mate, $750 highest I reckon. Might have gone up in price as China has slowed right down in pocket bike production but $799 is very high. And also tell your cousin to stop being a stinge he wants my bike for $400 lol.

To adjust the squish. Throw away the head gasket. Buy the Polini 50cc gasket kit, then get two grooves machined in your head to match the O rings that are in the kit. Remove the base gasket and replace it with the thinest gasket in the kit. Squish should be now around .6mm. If you want to reduce it further then get the top of the barrel skimmed.
