Okay ... need to free some funds and I was given this bike a while back in exchange for some other car parts.
Was told by the previous owner this was a serious race bike used at Archerfield in the past - hopefully someone on these forums may have seen it and can confirm. Maybe the previous owner is a member here too?
I know nothing about pocket bikes but thought it'd be good to have as a room artifact however need funds now which can be better used elsewhere.
I make no representation about the bike other than what I was told by the previous owner:
- air cooled
- full fairing
- fat boy exhaust
- alloy bar ends
- timeing key
- h/d clutch
- breather for the tank with overflow bottle
- slicks
- reversed forks
- engine boost ported
- jetted carb with velocity stack
Once again, I don't know how true the above is but that is what the owner told me.
As you can see from the pics, this machine does appear to have had some serious track time but has since been retired and has been sitting for a while gathering dust.
Previous owner tried to start it for me but the ripcord got stuck - he threw in the extras in the pic which include a new ripcord thingo plus new pegs. I just never got around to fitting it (too lazy).
I was also told that this bike was good enough to get me into serious trouble without the right protective gear and that she runs on a different mix of metho (25:1 ratio) only available from hobby shops. The tank is still mostly full.
Happy to let it go for
$180 which is what it roughly cost me - it may be worth more but that is my ignorance and your gain.
May also suit parting out but I am not inclined to do any of that stuff.
Happy to take more pics so people can confirm the specs.
