the walbro butterfly type carby [ as wt-603 ] is my most favoured carby. the good points are; no need to swap over jets to different sizes, no float to worry about, able to tune both low end plus high end for fine adjustments,
which is great for top speed rpms. the only bad if you can say bad is being able to correctly tune both of the low and high needles, this has been a problem for many in the past. if you need some advise on tuning the walbro i will certainly help out, so go and buy it.

also the walbro is the ideal performance carby if your bike has limited space between the rear of engine and the rear wheel.

i have used the walbro 15.5mm with great results. this has a larger venturi than the 14mm dellorto plus the walbro has the abilities for fine tuning , say you run your engine at high rpms and you feel its still abit rich all you have to do is turn the high speed needle screw in say 1/8 of a turn per time until you get maximum power at rpms.

i have this carb-cant give much positve feed back as first time i put it on took me 2hours of constant running to get it good-then my chain snaped and when i got a new chain i aso go a new head. as i was tuning the carb for a new head my crank snaped. but in theory it is a beter carb-just dont expect to put it on and ride away

i have the basic settings needed for both low and high needles which guarantees easy starting and running, then its just a matter of the fine tune process which is very easy.

Here is one great site for many DIY fitting of pocket bike performance parts. http://www.adaracing.com/resources-instructions.php
And this one shows you how to fit and then tune the carby mentioned. http://www.adaracing.com/pdf/pbhpck47-wt.pdf | | |
