It supposed to advance the timing on your motor. You have to remove the flywheel and remove the stock key and replace it with a key which has been advanced I think about 5 degrees. Some people swear they work others say they don't make a difference and then others say they actually lost performance with them.I think that each motor could be different as the timing might not be spot on with some of them and the timing key might correct it.This is only my opinion.Others may have another  For what they cost you can try it out and if it makes a difference then your in front if not then your out only about $20 or so.CarterRacing has them. Here's the link. http://store.carterraceengines.com/adtikey.html

RD RACING is an unknown quantity at this point
timings

if you think you would like to have your ignition timing advanced, let an experienced person have a look at where your timing is set as is, some engines come out of the factory with timings all over the place, eg; 8 degreess berfore or up to 16 degrees after. the main benefit of this advancement is only worthwhile if you have advanced other areas of your engine such as inlet and exhaust durations. 10 degress of ignition timing and no more. remember you have a carby and a pipe as well to think of.
the art of tuning an engine is to get fuel into the cylinder and out of as quick as possible, remember this.
