49cc performance exhaust

hey, i started a thread a while ago but it got sidetracked.
i have fabricated an exhaust (similar to the team go-nads X-can) that gives a great performance boost on the 49cc X1,R1, etc.
the exhaust gives a real potent bottom end, more potent that any other exhaust ive seen.
the top end power is good too, but not as good as the expansion chamber pipes sold in shops.
it is a very big improvement on the standard pipes.
if people are interested, i am going to make a batch up and sell them pretty cheap.

they can also be made to fit the cag engines, but i will have to test it first to be able to comment on a performance increase/decrease.

can anyone please express any interest in this thread or by a pm

this muffler is very simular to a motor mower muffler in design, it could produce fair to good bottom end power but i feel there is not much comparison compared to a tuned pipe. atleast the tuned pipe when set to its correct length will give a 2 stroke engine its biggest sudden surge of power and it is up to you when you want this to happen ie; longer or shorter. a good tuned pipe will add 1,000 rpms to any 2 stroke.

it is a similar design to that exhaust.
it gives the bike a deep loud note. it does not reduce the noise. however you can bolt on a muffler, but that is not included.

they are not as good as a tuned pipe, but they do not carry the same price tag

so if im happy to loose a bit of power to quieten mine down a bit, whats better? one of those weird block exhausts and a muffler? or the normal pipe exhausts with a muffler?

if you can modify a stock cag pipe for both better performance and quietness i would go for it. the box style muffler plus adding an extra muffler is a bit of concern due to vibrations causing the extra muffler to come adrift, unless the extra muffler is secured properly to a good point. i think viperperformance sells the stock pipe for $15. ask about an extra stinger muffler to be fitted, then you will have a quick and quiet bike.
