carb question?

Hi everyone

i am vary new to the pocket bike world and i have just purchased a used giovonni 49 cc pocket bike.

when i bought the bike i noticed a slight fuel leak coming from the carb. now the bike worked fine it was just that i don't like anything being wrong with my "toys", so i took the carb apart and cleaned it and when i put it back together the leak was horrible. i found out the problem and now i relished that i am in the need of a new carb

so long story short what is the best carb that i can buy for my 49 cc pocket bike, iv noticed that there are a bunch of different types of bikes (f1, x1, ect....) and i was wondering if the parts all work on the same bikes or do i have to buy bike specific parts.

now im not looking for the stock carb because if im buying a new one i want one to give me alittle more low end power or an over all boost.

so CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME!!!

thanks

ky-an

if it is one of the bikes with the electric start on them, it is not uncommon for a carb to be faulty and leak. you can get a replacement one from ebay or any of the pocketbike shops would stock them.
the carbies are the same for all the bikes with electric start

RD RACING is an unknown quantity at this point
go for around the 16mm genuine walbro carb this will give you the tuning of both high and low end performance. $50. if you want one.
