| | | Airfilter Problem
Hello people, my first time here and posting. I recently bought my little rocket(china) a few weeks ago and have just bought a Generic Air filter. I have one problem is that it wont fit the Carburetor the hose is a bit too small to slip onto the carby. I've tried to burn the rubber so it would become soft so i could slip it on but still wont work.
Is there a way to get it to fit ?

Have you tried to use rubber spaces? I have done that by cutting up length bits of rubber from a tyre.... crude.... but if done right 'can' work....

theres no real easy solution.. you have a walboro type airfilter & you need one for a standard cag carby..
the easiest thing I could probably suggest would be to use the right airfilter..
can you just use the rubber from your old airfilter.. the pod filters can be changed without changing the rubber(hose)..
does the carby have a plastic/alloy velocity stack on it by any chance..?
pics say a thousand words too, newbs...

Would it be alright if i stuck it on my bike without the velocity stack for a short period ? Like taping the filter to the carby ?
