Cool Will this carb work with cags

Hello, looking at these carbs for my cag bike.

Carburetor 47cc 49cc Dirt Quad Pocket Bike Super Bike - eBay, Other Accessories, Motorcycle Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 12-Mar-10 09:20:58 AEDST)

are these just bolt on, and using a high velocity stack for the air filter?
Or would i need a special adapter?

If this is no good, can someone recomend a cheap alternative to the stock cag carb.

Thanks

I ran one of them for a while on my cag, they are alright, but you need a different manifold and fuel tank... Aswell as air filter..

Wouldn't worry about it mate, no real power advantage..

You could put this one down to an experimental stage in minimoto. Just like in the way i'd like to experiment with your mum, Tyd

The stock Cag carb is a really great carb for this mill. You can bore your own carb with a 9/16 ot 14mm drill bit on a press. You can even go 15mm but the gain is minimal over 1mm and you need to go balls perfect then. I love slide carbs.

Thumbs up

Do YOU or someone you know have a drill press and machinist vise to hold carb? If so then you break down you carb. Get a 14mm drill bit or what I like is a 14mm or 9/16 counter sunk bit. The counter sink bit has 5-7 cutting blades on it as oppose to the 2 that a drill bit has. You are going to drill out the venturi of your carb allowing for more and to be pulled into each intake charge. You can also buy a larger 3/4 counter sink bit to make a velocity type or cone entrance into the venturi and still retain your stock choke lever. I dont have a cable for my cam at my house but I will get a bike and do a build for you at my house. I have a cam so give me some time and I can set it up live on the web for ya`ll. If this is ok with the mods, admin. I just joined so let me get my feet wet first. Remove the silencer and run a straight pipe now. Cut the entrance and exit to chamber on exhaust and remove excess length from chamber then BUTT weld pipe to chamber. This alone is gonna wake the motor up. The drill carb venturi. Walla, you just increased a minimum of 5 mph (MINIMUM) on a stock Cag. Not bad for damn near free.

i have one of those performance exhausts that are shiny and come in 3 pieces, do i really need to cut off the silencer?
Also, a vid or pics would be AWSOME.
thanks for your input bro.
