quick throttle cable length

hey all,
so my new quick turn throttle arrived today, a cnc one with the clear top and the pulley inside..it looks pimp...
hooked it up BUT my throttle cable inner is too short..so i did the obvious, and hacked the crap out of the outer =P this worked....sorta...due to the outer having a friggin metal spiral tubing in it, it was a ***** to shorten..and i dont know how but i made it too short, so i put some back on and taped her up...bad idea...not too smooth =P
long story short, is there anywhere that sells a cable with a longer inner than the standard one off my banshee?

thanks,
matt

i think i know the throttle, but mine wasnt a quick turn version. tommaselli or something to that degree. was really nice quality.

can you measure the approximate length you need? IIRC (was a long time ago now) i used the standard GRC cable for the domino throttle. but yeah measure it up and send john (PRI) or danny (PRB) an email, they probably have one.

gromet is an unknown quantity at this point
Hey mate this is what I would do.

Go to your locale push bike they sell those things that go on to the cable at the grip end (the bit that goes in the grip) any ways they have a little grub screw in them so you can adjust the legth of the cable..
get one of them, a long inner cabble and a throttle outer cable...

you can buy emergency throttle repair cables at some motorbike shops that have a nib that screws onto the cable that you can set the length with. I've used these before with great success. if you ask around, you might get lucky.
