| | | 50cc motocrosser muffler to Blata Rep.
Has anyone fitted a 50cc motocross pipe to there water cooled PB. I have managed to score an FMF muffler off an SX50 KTM. Dimensions look good comparing to standard.
Was wondering if it had been done and what the results were like.
Here's the pipe I'm using, obviously I'll have to cut the header down and weld it to the exhaust.

has it got the chamber to go with it??
if so, give it a try.. other than that, if its just the stinger it shouldn't make much difference execpt for the "ultra kool factor" of having a mx pipe on a pb.

Nah no chamber, MX chambers are all midrange and wouldnt fit a rep without major mods. The "ultra cool factor" is what I was chasing but after my rep muffler broke in half last weekend I am also looking for "quality and strength."
Plus my frame is KTM orange!!!!!

Muffler is welded and wrinkle paint has been applied to the exp. chamber(also to cover up the weld a little better). Will take pics and upload on Monday at work. Choice job though....... I hope its a little quieter so I can sneak up on the competition and perform "Stealth Passes" HE HE.

Well, the muffler is fitted and a little quieter with no noticable drop in power. Looks good the KTM sticker is nearly a perfect match to my paint colour on the frame.
Here's the pics:

Track tested last night, she went really good, I definitely haven't lost any power that's for sure. It's a bit hard to gauge due to the fact that there were not any comparable bikes to run it against. They were either air cooled or water cooled with way different gearing to mine.
