if its chinese... should always try and use 3 shoes.. cag or w/c.. its just that you get more of the crappy pad compound gripping !! used with some good springs, will work fine!!
if its elite, doesn't really matter, both can work great!!

Cags generally come standard with a 3-shoe clutch. You remove 'em with a gear-puller (preferably three-jaw, can be found at any auto parts store).

Some guys over on my forum have been modifying the standard Cag clutch with Banshee shoes ... apparently they bolt right up to the Cag backing plate. Makes it more reliable, and hooks up faster, plus lasts longer.

3x47-49cc 2 stroke Quad/Pocket/Dirt Bike clutch-MP008A (eBay item 250724085867 end time 07-Feb-11 12:31:04 AEDST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats

OK, so i was going to replace the springs in my standard cag clutch with heavy duty ones so it engages at higher rpm. I found these three standard cag clutches with heavy duty springs already installed. What do you think? Cheers Jay
