Fibreglass Fairing kit Banshee/ Cag.

Hi guys, just wanted to let everybody know about the fiberglass fairings that Hansen racing are producing. Just got a seat molding done for my Banshee SHO, What can I say very nice and very strong From what I understand they are taken from the SQ seat and fairing shape. Hansen racing are doing these in a plain fiberglass look that only needs to be undercoated and painted in your dream colors. I'm just waiting to get my upper and lower fairings from them at the moment, so I can complete my bike. It's just that I'm getting mine done in black gel coat so I don't need to paint them. They don;t exactly look jet black but more like charcoal Grey, Bit like Valentino's off season test prototypes! Just thought I'd let everybody know as they've got to be better than the easily breakable plastic ones that every body uses, anyway if anybody is interested contact Hansen Racing, I'm sure they'll look after you. Will post some pic's of the seat so far needs some stickers etc. And will put some up of the fairing as soon as I have it fitted.

hey glen, uhhh... nuthin!
On another note... good job on the subframe sv! good to hear! sorry you couldn't get hold of one from anywhere! It wouldn't been a lot cheaper that way as I can't really put a price on sumthin I cant replace!
Iv made heaps of bikes go with a bit of manufacturing! And at the end of the day it feels great to see the kids or yourself enjoying sumthin you helped build! literally...

will fairings from the same mold as yours fit a banshee with a regular subframe or is it custom for yours, and do you have any prices?

These fairings will fit a std Banshee.. They are not designed just to fit his custom subframe..

Oh and morty, meh!!!!!!

The fairings should fit the std Banshee frame as I haven't changed anything from the front mounts, the sub frame I built was modeled to suit a SQ and std cag seat fairing. The price I'm not sure yet, from what I have been told they should go between $100-$200. If you go to the North Brisbane site they have contact details there, I'm sure they'll be able to give you the correct figure. All I know is that they have always been willing to help with problems and very reasonable with their pricing. From what I understand you can pay up to maybe $100 for a std set of plastics, and fair enough they might be painted but these are definitely stronger and not really that much heavier, given the extra strength and repair ability. As I said I'll post some pics of the fairings when I get them.

They look good, but I think ill just drop a layer of fiberglass into the inside of my plastics. Especially the seat which is falling apart. No painting and will cost about $30.
