WTB: mega super awesome reeds??

G'day all

Im still chasing up a few parts to get the ufo underway one of which is reeds!

Can anyone tell me where i can get better than ordinary plain old 2 petal reeds? I would really like some carbon fibre or fiberglass 4 petals but i have not found anything yet.

Also does anyone know where to buy phenolic resin or bakelite blocks? i want to machine up my own heat stopping reed spacers and carby adaptors/spacers??

Cheers

Thanks for the help guys but unfortunatly im still out of luck on the reed situation. My new plan is to fit watercooled reeds.

Where is a good place to source up some 4 petal reeds or dual mono reed set ups for a watercooled? all i need is the block and the reeds ill machine the adaptor/spacer. i was going to run a watercooled carby adaptor anyway so this just makes it all work so much easier.

cheers

Nice spotting, Glen#159. The four petal for dellorto is definately the one to grab. Theses ADA units seem to be hard to come by. Even the ADA website doesnt seem to acnowledge it anymore. Google is indeed your friend. Seek and ye shall find.

I'm interested to see what comes of this project and it will be good.

Regards,

Claw

Awesome, thanks blokes. i think i am going to just run the watercooled reeds anyway. those prices are insane. i cant find anything on google (google does not liek me ) main reason to run watercooled set up is i want to run a 19mm PHBG carby. i already have the intake manifold, if i get basic watercooled reeds and quickly machine up an adaptor it should do the trick. plus its cooler to have mismatched parts
