| | | Engine wont start help pleasee :(
Hey guys i just recently boight a sq water cooled bike, just put a 50cc 6port head onto it it has a brand new 19mm carb the problem is that when i try starting it, it just back fires coughs might fire 3-4times then die again the whole engine was built before i bught it now im thinking it could be two problems apperntly WB racing built the engine so i highly doubt it could be a leak in the crank case
1 is that it has a orange spark could be alittle weak
2 because it was rebuilt maybe the crank wasnt sealed proply and its not sucking up enough fuel
also the reeds were changed and im thinking they could have been put in wrong it dosnt sound like it sucks much from the carbi when u try starting it
thanks in advance for any help!

orange spark is pretty weak. buisiness card between the flywheel and coil to space it out - should be a strong white or purple.
will it stay running if you give it some throttle when you start it? if not its more then likely bad spark. sounds like a familiar bike anyway. whered you get it

take the torch plug to a motorcycle shop , auto dealer , or lawnmower chainsaw service store they will have a replacement NGK, Bosch or champion spark plug
the torch plugs are Chinese rubbish

if its backfiring also if the new plug and coil adjustment wont fix it the keyway on the flywheel might have broken off. that happens. definitely use a good spark plug if your going to all the trouble of putting a 6 port top end on !
