Watercooled Quad Project

I have been building this project for a while now. I bought a 49cc Air Cooled quad. Had some of these previously it wouldn't have enough power or be big enough for me. I want to have fun in the scrub with the kids on there 49cc go karts home built.
I then cut it down and modified it by rose jointing all the suspension points, rebuilt the A arms to make the front end 250mm wider. The wheelbase has been extended around 300mm and about 150mm higher for the seat. I totally fabricated the rear swing arm with 30mm go kart axle shortened and rear wet weather race tyre/rims. A new engine was transplanted into the frame. This required 70% redesign and fabrication of the frame. The engine is a 50cc Blata replica engine with 19mm carbie. Having some issues with the motor which I hope to sort out on the weekend.
Can't wait to ahve some fun on this little beast.

Still have to sort out some of the rear end and then paint seat fairing, rear swingarm and tidy up some little jobs still to be done.

Looks good buddy, maxxis kart tyres should give you awesome grip too!

here's come pics from the quads PBU have built, dunno if you have seen them, but they should give you some thoughts on what else you could do.

A-style swingarm looks like the way to go, strength wise. But if it ain't broke, don't fix it ey.
