My old/new L7 W.I.P

Long story this one lol

I got these L7 frame 40% ready from LMR a few year back now I got it running over the first year...


Then it was time to paint it, I dd the painting at my dads work. Itsdone in PPG 2Pac



As alot of you now Tyd had it for the past few months finishing and P.I.M.Ping it up thanks dude...

but now its getting repainted again.... watch this space

Heres a picture of Mine and my brothers

the plan is to put my frame on my bros bike and paint his for my bike
here is what Ive done so far.
First I striped my lucky 7, What a mess

then I stripped my bros and put my frame on it, I think it looks good.

now Ive painted my new frame, calipers, wheels and plastics and lots lots more lol
here it is so far. I hope it gives you a good idea

iv always liked orange and mat black together. cant wait to see the finished product.
also, where did you source your wheel strips from? do u know what size/diameter they are?

That is awesome!! loving the wheels mate, was a bit worried at the start when you said you were doing it but it looks awesome...

Your painting the barrel and stuff aswell?

and whats with the "W" painted white?? haha, who would do that?

the wheels stripes are done by painting the rims orange then i taped the lip with 4mm fine line, then painted it black...
Tyd yer i really like how it looks I gotta tell you i was scared when I had it all apart but is back to a roller now
Its got a MortyMiniMoto barral so you no it will hammer, oh and yer it will be orange like the calipers Not sure about black, orange or chrome pipe though?

Ive painted every thing on it calipers, forks, barral, ect

Its back together now, I ran it for a bit yesturday and i think he rings were hitting on the exhuast port so Ive pulled it back down and dremeled the edges of all the ports and port matched it, now Ill hit MMM up for a few parts and it should be a winner I REALLY like how its turned out

Question Paint Job

Hi gromet this is Bill & i was wondering how you came up with the paint scheme as it looks like a copy of Liams DM. This is right down to the black rims & orange edges but yours are painted on and ours are tape.Let me know as copying is a great form of flattery.
