My bikes

i keep loosing the 50 thousand threads i make for pics haha ill just update this one (i think ive even made a thread saying that before too )

PRO CAG

heaps of thanks to claw for giving me the base SQ frame to build it on

its got

- jetpro exhaust
- banshee clutch
- modified reed setup
- wierd looking one piece freak barrel
- stroker full circle crank
- lightened flywheel
- bzm sprockets
- walbro rep now but getting a 14mm dellorto
- GP3 replica fairings and front end
- pitbike throttle
- steering dampner
- grc footpegs (or replicas there pretty convincing haha) and steel bracket

pmts still to come

did have a walbro replica on it too but thats going in the garbage. what a heap of junk haha. got a 14mm dellorto on the way so i can see how it runs when its in tune now

i think this bike should win some kind of award for the most unbalanced as well. it literally hurts after a lap or two it vibrates that badly. i dont think ive recovered from last weekends ride hahahaa

just bought a dreambike motor for $100 too so ill have the 911 going once again for the china class pics of that soon

(the bikes in the background are an X9 4 stroke midbike and a 250cc atomik thumpster if your wondering ;P)

kool, make sure all your bolts are tight as hell and keep checking your motor mount, A while ago my motor mount was loose and I lost 4 seat bolts in a 10min practice session..

bike doesn't look like a SQ though, looks like a SQ rep, if you look at the rear of the bike the swing arm is square like a box frame, but with the genuine SQ's they have a tubed round swing arm, but saying that, I know a few people that run this sort of frame ...

interesting. its a rep of a rep of a rep then :P the frame looks pretty strong though. at least all the welds are really good. so i think itll stand up.

the crank is the problem in this one. it was balanced but it worked like sh*t lol i think the holes are too close to the crank pin.. or maybe not close enough... dunno. so ill get a stock one in there sometime down the track they dont vibrate too bad as stock anyway. ive got 5 shock mounts coming anyway that should save my a55 till then

theres the crank btw.

have a splitting hangover today so using the lathe is always a bit relaxing (as stupid as that sounds)

got that ebay 911 motor for $105 so i gotta finish the dreambike rep off now. it doesnt need too many parts. pair of brake cables, rear caliper, kill switch, rear tyre and a new muffler is about it.

i traded my good grc water pump pulley (the one that bolts to the bzm sprockets) to grevs so he didnt have to carve up his awesome stamas and got the DM one from him. that one works as a press fit on the hub of the wheel and its clamped on by the sprocket itself.

unfortunately the one piece banshee rims dont facilitate that style of pulley at all so i had to cut the old knackered vee rubber off and precariously hang the rim in the lathe - and cut the end of the wheel down some to fit the pulley.

1) jigged up

2) nearly done. just a few thou to go

3) all done

with the new rim in the bike though nothing lined up. so the brake bracket (which is a modified banshee one) had to be cut down a little as did the brake caliper bolts so it didnt interfere with the disk.

now its all dead center and everything lines up. so hopefully thatll get rid of the terrible instability the bike used to have (or maybe thats just how 911s are haha)

also got a few anti vibration mounts for the cag too so ill see if those work as everyone says they do!

thats all for now
