Broken bones

Broke my collar bone the first day out on a new car park we found. Bigger than all our other car parks we race in with about 28 second a lap. Awesome track.
Drew came off in front of me going hard around the sweeper, I had nowhere to go except straight into his kidneys lol. And I come off second best, go figure.
On the bright side, I got it on external video and helmet cam. stoked. 8)

Looking at the footage from the camera at the hairpin, it looks like my right shoulder landed on Drews bike.
So no more minimotos 4 me for at least 2 months.

Hi Phil,
Malcolm sent me an email saying you broke your collar bone, mine is still very sore two weeks later.
I had the op last Thursday, as mine was in four bits, so now it's plated and screwed together.
I sent him the before and after pic's.
Good luck on the mend job.

Ouch. Sounds worse than mine. Mine is a clean break. I'll post up a pic of the xray.

BG, i feel your pain. I've done a foot and a rib or two this year and damn, it's not easy recovery. Keep it up, though, you can only get better!

Let's all join in the injury stories. I destroyed the cartilidge in my knee by high siding it and deciding that land knee first into the concrete was the best option. Knee pads, won't save everything!

i dont have pics of my shoulder which i had 2 rods put in but this pic is my right heal did it on a mountain bike 10 years ago. had 6 other brakes about 20 years ago all from motorx. now i keep bouth weels on the ground and keep the misses happy ps dazza that repsol wrs that you sold to the new kid in are club broke his collar bone on the week end did the big endo those blata brakes work to well as you know all to well there are 8 screws all up in my heal

Here are my injuries so far. I broke my collar bone last august and then my thumb more recently in the practice for rnd 2 of the aussie titles. Here are my 'trophies' so to speak.
