NEW 2009 Polini 911 GP6

FOR BIG YOUNG CHAMPIONS

The new Polini 911 GP6 is a double-soul minibike: one super-sporting and easy to drive for those who exploit it at a certain levels and the other one challenging and extraordinary performing for those who are able to race on tracks and reach high performance.

It is extraordinary steady as for the trajectory’s planning, great handling, able to fully exploit the route’s radius of the bends, perfectly balanced, exclusive; those who buy it have all the necessary requirements to aim at the podium in the Italian championship of minibikes or simply to enjoy themselves on tracks.

GENERAL TECHNICAL FEATURES

The Trellis frame that can be adjusted in the rear part thanks to the two small coils that let the adjustment of the rear swingarm change according to the track features.

Main structure realized with 18 steel-molybdenum-chromium tubes

Rear frame made of tubular self-hardening steel.

High resistance steel forks with two rectangular swing arms.

Stiff forks with steel legs of 25mm

Various light alloy parts all machined: fork feet, brackets carrying the brake caliper, handlebar connection, steering damper connection.

The two upper and lower fork plates are machined in alloy

Hydraulic steering damper adjustable at 12 positions

2 STROKE ENGINE

3 different 2 stroke engines models:

39,69 cc (bore and stroke 36x39) air cooled.

39,99 cc (bore and stroke 36x39,2) liquid cooled.

49,3 cc (bore and stroke 40x39,2) liquid cooled.

The two GP6 minibikes with 39,99 and 49,3 liquid cooled engines have a new bigger radiator that improves the cooling decreasing the water temperature values.

Crankcase and cylinder in light- alloy.

Direct reed intake in the case

Water cooling pump able to optimize the cooling system and make it more efficient and reliable.

Starter with pulling-cable, according to the FMI Regulations.

Dell’Orto carburetors

Slipping ignition

Exhaust system according to the ACMI rules for the Junior category

Expansion chamber, cone against cone type, in P04 steel

End silencer in light-alloy with its ends being machined.

The exhaust system goes through the upper side of the frame and it ends under the rear seat.

BRAKING SYSTEM

Floating front brake disc of 148 mm with an anti-shock disc-guard

Rear brake disk with diameter of 130mm.

Rear and front brake calipers with a sliding system driven by special bushes

The brake disc plane is characterized by radial cuts that improve the cooling system. They have a sliding system driven by special bushes.

The brakes on the air cooled model are mechanic.

The brakes on the liquid cooled model are hydraulic with machined and anodized light alloy levers.

RIMS

Three spokes design made in conch fused aluminium thanks to processing carried out in centers at numeric control.

They have the characteristic to let the assembly of tubeless tires. Measures: 90/65–R6,5 for the front one and 110/50 – R6,5 for the rear one.

DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHTS

They are in conformity with the 2009 FMI Rules

Max. length 1060mm, faring width 240mm, seat height 460mm, tank 1,5 liters, weight 22 kgs.

they finally scrapped the reverse engine. woohoo! doesn't look any different to the gp5 in any regard other then that.

Hmm.. gotta say that im not a fan of the bike. I found the front windscreen when up too high? Personally i think a new name for this bike should be in order NEW 2009 Polini 911 GP6 RETRO EDITION

spot on dude!!! old technolgy and why would you own one when you have bikes likes Stamas racing,DM Telai,Grc-Moto,BMS etc,for the same money.Polini engines are really behind these days not unless you put a BZM top end kit then they work extremely welll. I saw that bike in late 08 didnt think much of it,but they have done some improvements,but still running that old crappy fairing kit,well each to there own i suppose!!!!!
