Rnd 6, Qld Race Series, 8th Nov 09..

Absolute cracker of a day for the entirety of proceedings.. It was forecast for showers but we did not see a single drop..

Some superb racing was had by all competitors and as always was fantastic to watch..

There was a few slides today and the medic was called upon today, the rider needing attention to the 10cm hole that was ground into him by the racing circuit following a low side slide through the fastest cnr on the track (you'll be feeling that if it starts to dry up Shane, my suggestion is keep it covered and keep the cream on it so it doesn't dry up )..

If any rider or spectator has any problems during the day, it can be rectified by speaking to an official in a civilized manner.. Abuse of officials is not tolerated and will subsequently see the rider/s, team supporter/s or spectator/s have their invitation to attend Lakeside removed.. Some issue's may be small oversights and not a major drama that they think it is, these things can be easily sorted out, but throwing tantrums will not benefit anyone..

We have also been contacted by Channel Ten's Totally Wild.
They have asked us if we would assist them in a story!!! Pip has been 'challenged' to ride a mini bike and stay on it and they want US to show her how and be a part of their show.
Of course we would like as many juniors and seniors to attend, only problem being.. It is Friday afternoon 20/11/09 from 1pm until 4pm. I will be taking the afternoon off work and grabbing the kids from school early. If you could do the same then...You get a FREE ride!!!

Chris did line up the 'Shak day', we were both in contact with the channel 9 producer and were both told that channel 9 would send us each a copy.. Channel 9 sent us and not Chris a copy and after talking to him on Skype about it we arranged for us to express post him a copy, which we did.. So Chris does have his copy..
So he should be able to get that video on this site like he mentioned he would do..

I however should get my act together and upload the all the video's from channel 7 that have featured us, like I stated and soon to be channel 10..
