North Brisbane Pocket Bike Club.. Info..

NBPBC is meeting every second Sunday at Lakeside Raceway..

Address is Lakeside Rd, Kurwongbah...

NBPBC caters for any class pocket bike and any age from 6 and up...

NBPBC offers a warm, friendly, relaxed, enjoyable, family friendly atmosphere...

One of or up to 3 qualified emergency paramedic's with a fully equiped truck's are in attendance the whole time, as well as other highly trained staff...

Medic numbers vary as there is also many other forms of motorsport happening in and around the Motorsport Complex, with club cars and sprints on the big track, waterskiing on the Lake, remote controlled petrol boats on another Lake and pocket bikes on the smaller track...So dependant on what's going on around the Complex is how many Queensland Raceway staff are here...

The track itself is 8m wide all around, length varies up to 800+m depending on layout we happen to run, has around 10-15m of elevation, positive and negative fast flowin corners as well as a tighter section, track has just been re-surfaced and is smooth and finally there is 100% runoff onto soft grass...

An AASA(Australian Auto Sport Alliance) is required and is available at the track at a more than reasonable rate...

Time is between 8.00a.m and 5.00p.m, try to get there early to maximise your track time by getting set up and filling out any forms...

Hope to see you here...

Was good to get out on the track again the other week but unfortunately the price increase this season will mean I doubt I'll get back. I race the pocket bike for a bit of fun and at $50 a time it makes it to much to do as a hobby for me, I'm paying extra to race the car at Lakeside as well this season (one day costs the same as a 3 day meeting at Morgan Park) and so the budget isn't going to extend to running the pocket bike at a higher cost on top of the race car. I guess its fine for those that are more committed to pocket bike racing but I'm happy to run the cheaper practice days at Archerfield for my ocassional pocket bike blast.

mate, dont give up pocket bikes just because a club is trying to make you pay,

archerfield is only 35 bucks a race meet and only 20 bucks for practice days on saturdays!!!

that means you can still race your car and then on the off weekends come out to archerfield and race or just come out for a bit of fun on saturdays for practice!

$35 forJuniors and $50 for senior riders at Lakeside.

Most tracks would have the same prices wouldn't they?
