140cc class? (motard)

Anyone know if this will be introduced this season? Heard some rumors it may. Dont want to waste cash on my 125cc if its going to be redundant by then end of the yr.

i know a good lifan 125cc & a race cdi box from ebay will flogg a 140cc

i have a couple of M8s who own them & i used to own a pit pro 125 that kept up with a few of the 140cc oilcooled bikes

hehe, yep. Running the 22mm carb and running 37 rear and 14 front.
So u saying with these mods it will be as fast as a 140cc?

If it is, i guess all the person on the 140cc will have to do is do the same mods and then be faster again.. so pays to get a 140cc if everyone is gonna be on them.

The ruleing was passed by the committee last Sunday for the seniors to be allowed up to 140cc Chinese motor in the Motard Class, open mods.
This has been changed to allow all MMMCI club members a fighting chance against the already allowed 140cc bikes in QLD for the Australian Titles.

Don't can your 125cc too quick . We went through the same evolution with the 110cc bikes when 125cc came in . I stuck with my old 110 and it was still very competitive against the newer 125's , winning more often than not and in the hands of its new owner its still beating most of the 125's .Just remember , corner speed corner speed and more corner speed . Oh and good tyres too
