MMMC Racing

Hey
Next year i am going to start racing.
Just a Few things i need to clear up on.. I got the info i have from the 2007 handbook

CLASS 4: OPEN 50CC CLASS.
(Please note: Only riders with a minimum of 1 year experience within a motorcycle discipline may enter this class).

That is the class my bike would fit into (i think cuz i have a worked cag)
Does that mean i have to have been with the MMMC for atleast 1 year? i have been riding for over a year but not with any clubs..

Do the 2006 rules still apply?
It says

In the 2007 book it says this
Membership to The MMMCI is $20.00 for associates, seniors or juniors for a full twelve months from date of application.
A race licence will be $40.00 also for a full twelve months from date of application. Membership for committee and marshals, (who are not competitors) is free for a full twelve months from date of application.

but in the 2006 rules it says $30 for members or $35 for non members please explain what i have to pay..

CLASS 1: BASIC AIRCOOLED CAG SENIORS AND JUNIORS.
FOUR RACES OF FIVE LAPS.

• Capacity: Maximum 51 cc
how can you have a 51cc pocketbike with half circle crank and standard head??

Reeds: Material open does this mean you can have triple stage or only fibreglass, carbon fibre or tin??

The 2008 handbooklet will be out soon.
Your worked cag will race against other worked cags.
You can race as soon as you complete a two part assessment test.
Part one will be understanding what the flags mean, what are the safety measures used, etc.
All will be explained and is fairly easy to understand.
Part two will be a short test that you can ride safely on the track.
Again easy to pass.
Cost to join the club is all up $60 per year for a single racer.
Capacity is up to 51cc due to most 44mm bore cags being 50.07cc approx.
Reed material open mean exactly what it say, open, any type of reed material is allowed.

The track gets $35.00
Saint Johns Ambulance get $10.00
Trophies and running costs of the club $10.00

So the total works out to be $55.00 for race day.
This is cheap racing.
