Starting out in racing?

Hi All,

I just joined - I'm based in Upwey, Melbourne and I'm interested in racing pocket bikes as it seems a lot cheaper than starting out in the 125GP class with MA.

Other than purchasing a bike (something like this or this would be within budget) and turning up, what do I need to do in order to start racing?

I took a look in the clubs section for Victoria but the clubs seem either shut down with the exception of the VPBA, whose website is down at the moment.

you can go racing at Warnambool SWMMC and you can go to lemans track dandenong every wed nite.
