Social Race meets at Pooraka

Hi everyone
Its been a while since we have had a social race meet at Pooraka.
We have 2 more titles meets left and then ...nothing planned .
The Guys at Pooraka are quite happy to drop the flag for any social meets that we organize. It would be good to bring back some of the "old days racing" by racing once again for prizes like a Chocy bar or a can of soft drink.
Also there has been a lot of interest shown in an endurance race of some sort.
This is one event I would really like to pursue and make it happen.This event has been spoken of in the past and people have had some great ideas on how to set up this event...but ....it hasn't happened yet. LETS DO IT!
Would be good to get some feed back on these 2 ideas from all in SA who ride .

Hi to everyone again
I just have finished doing the certificates for round 4 of the SA titles and couldn't wait to get on here to announce that THE ENDURANCE RACE IS ON!!!!!!!
We had a SAMRA committee meeting last night and if was decided that this event will be held at Pooraka on the 29/11/2008..roughly 3 weeks away.
I would to thank Rare40 and all the committee who have gotten behind this event to help make it a reality .
I will post the rules for this event on this site and the SAMRA site as soon as possible.This event it was decided will be held as a 1 hour endurance trial with there being teams of 3 consisting of 2 riders and one to lap scorer..however some of the junior riders have opted to ride the full event ,but still must have a lap scorer.
There will be two classes held at different times.the first will be CAGS and the second is Watercooled bikes.
This event will be started with a Lemann's style start..where the riders have to run to their bikes and start them and ride off.
This event will be for trophies to the winning teams.

this sounds like a lot of fun will senior's and juniors race the same race ??

I already talked to Brandon ( #1 National Elite Aircooled Junior Champion) as my team mate for this, SO HANDS OFF everyone. LOL

PS If I had a watercooled WBR (hint hint) I would ride the W/C enduro with you.

Iam sitting here drinking but what is really making me happy is, I only have to ride one lap, Brandon will do the rest LOL

think allan mofit done that one year stoped for two laps while the rookie drove he had a smoke and a piss i belive then got back in and won lols sounds good to me hahaha
