Aus title round 1

Hi guys
my names Jez and i beelong to the melbourne mini moto club, i see u guys have confirmed round 1 for the Aussie title and was wondering if any 1 would be kind enough to help me out with pix of the track, length or any info ur willing to share with me prior to this meeting.

Also im keen to find out distance from Bris to the track as thats where my bike and i will be arriving on bus and it would be real handy to get an idea of how im going to get around for the weekend, ideally would like to find accom close to track..

Any 1 planning on racing any of the victorian tracks this year who helps me out i will more than happily do the same in return, i have knowledge, expierence and titles on our tracks and would be happy to put ppl up for free on any race weekend we have down here..

Here is the info I have worked out.

AUSTRALIAN MINIMOTO TITLES 2008

Pro Dirt Short Track Motoplex

Round 1:
22nd & 23rd March 2008
Entry cost: See attached sheet
Classes being run are for Juniors and Seniors, with an under 10’s class for classes 1 and 2.
Class 1: Basic Cag
Class 2: Open Cag
Class 3: Open Elite Aircooled
Class 4: Basic Chinese Watercooled
Class 5: Open Chinese Watercooled
Class 6: Open Elite Watercooled
Class 7: Motard up to 140cc four stroke Chinese.

TRANSPORT:
We leave Melbourne Thursday 20th noon and drive straight through and arrive Friday 21st noon.
Return leaving either Sunday 23rd pm or Monday 24th morning am and arrive either Monday 24th pm or Tuesday 25th am.
I am organising a 12 seater mini-bus, (automatic with air-conditioning), with trailer.
Fully enclosed water tight trailer size is 1.8m x 1.8m x 3.0m.
Cost per-person, (adult or child) for transport is as follows:
Minibus hire for 5 days $741.77
Excess reduced to $500 for accident $27.00 per day = $135.00
Trailer hire per day $49.20 = $246.00
First 1000km free then 0.27c per km
Approx 3600km there and back less 1000km free = 2600km x 0.27c = $728.00
Fuel around 432 litres @ $1.45 per litres = $626.40
Total $2477.17
If we get 10 people going the transport costs are $247.72 approx pp.

ACCOMODATION:
Oxley Motor Inn
2333 Ipswich Road

This motel is about 5 minutes drive to the track.
Cost:
$113.00 per night for a room to fit 3 people = $37.66 per person per night x 3 nights = $113.00pp.

TOTAL ACCOMODATION AND TRANSPORT:
Approx $360.72pp


2ND VEHICLE HIRE (DUE GREAT RESPONSE FROM THE MMMCI CLUB)


2ND MINIBUS 8 SEATER

Now I am also organising an 8 seater mini-bus, (automatic with air-conditioning).
No trailer can be fitted to this minibus, so the first bus trailer should be large enough.
Cost per-person, (adult or child) for transport is as follows:
Minibus hire for 5 days $505.00
Excess reduced to $500 for accident $27.00 per day = $135.00
First 1000km free then 0.27c per km
Approx 3600km there and back less 1000km free = 2600km x 0.27c = $728.00

Total $1994.40
If we get 6 people going the transport costs are $332.40 approx pp.

Total cost for the two mini-buses, trailer hire and accommodation.
This is worked out on a total of 18 or 16 people going.


18 people: Total per person approx $361.21

16 people: Total per person approx $406.60

So what ever happens, it won’t be too expensive for anyone to go.
