The red springs are actually identical to the blue springs (in regards to chinese cag 2 shoe clutches)
We have heaps of slightly used 2shoe clutches for $10e. nearly all are 99% new/condition.
pm me if you're interested.
$30 seems to be the standard price these days... they are actually quite expensive when compared to 3 shoe clutches when brought direct from the manufacturers..

thanks | The cag two shoes are rubbish, don't bother. Danny at Pocket Racing Bikes has banshee standard clutches for around $35 i think he said, stick some bzm blus springs in it and it will never die.
No offence Grays, but they are tripe.

If your handy with a few tools and a welder you can take the pins out of the cag two shoe and weld them into the banshee plate, therefore giving you infinate upgradeability, such as bzm shoes, if you wish!

It'll fit straight on and you'll even get the benefit of being able to use the keyway!!

Hold your horses there, Nelly!! It has come to my attention that a standard Banshee clutch won't go into cag cases that easily. Apparently the nuts behind the backing plate rub on the ribs inside the clutch half of the cases!!!
I'll be fitting one of my Banshee clutches to my cag tomorrow, so i'll take a photo or two and explain how it works. (thats if i can actually do it. There's nothing you can't fix with an angle grinder and a stick of dynamite )
Edit: Funnily enough, i've just re read this thread after posting the above message. Sorry Gray, i totally missed the point of your posts <slaps forehead>. Yes, it is better to buy an old cag plate and stick better shoes in it, i'll admit that. Though it's cheaper to use a Banshee, if you have decent spings lying around.
