Hi to all
First off all I would like to congratulate Rusty Gav and Damien for purchasing the Pooraka track.
As new management they have already made quite a few changes and upgrades to the track and facilities .
It is also good to see that they are willing to continue holding social race meets with the view to eventually hold some sort of trophy race meets in the future.
With all they have done already the new management have shown that they are more than committed to pocket bike racing in the Northern area and SA.
With the commitment shown so far along with some top ideas for the future the New Management look like they are there for the long haul. But.....they need one thing to really help them along.....and that is patronage...your patronage....your families patronage and lets not forget any friends patronage.
If all of the pocket bike fraternity in SA get behind the New Management from Pooraka I`m sure that Pocket bike racing will be bigger and better than ever!
So even if it is just to say Hi to Gav or Rusty or to ride at the track the Boys will really appreciate it and greet you with a friendly smile and give you the best service they possibly can give!

So for all your engine repairs and performance mods
Spare parts
Sales of bikes
Go kart hires
Track Hire
Contact Gav at the track on Phone 08 82602295 Mobile 0417804480
Or you may want to visit them at the track at
Pooraka Raceway
30 Research Road
Pooraka SA 5095

Just one last note .If anyone is interested in a Thursday night practice session as we used to have before,Gav said that he would be willing to stay open later if enough people were keen!

Talking Pooraka raceway

Hi guys and girls,
Just want to touch on Rovers comments.
Rover I could not have said what you said any better myself if I tried.
Its great to see you supporting & promoting the Pooraka raceway.
Gav & Rusty (not forgeting their respective partners) have so far done a fantastic job with the track. The improvements etc already have been noticed by all.
You could not ask for better people to welcome and accomodate you when ever you go there.
I am definately interested in a ride Thursday night if others are going to be there.
If not I will certainly be there with bells on on Saturday night.
So once again all you adelaide people with pocket bikes sitting in their sheds, lets dust them off & get out to pooraka and support the guys that are providing a great venue for us to do what we love doing.
Hope to see as many people as possable on Saturday night.

Smile Excellent night at pooraka

Hey all, what a great night it was at pooraka Thursday night.
The weather was fantastic, great for riding in.
Good to see the usual suspects out there, hopefully a few more will come out Saturday for racing.
Lets see if we can make this a regular thing on Thursday nights.
Ill have to remember to bring more gold liquid next time though lol
My best time clocked in a 5 lap session was a 17.6
Was on a better lap the next lap but got out of shape when the front wheel lifted coming out of the corner onto the finish line straight.
