Hi Frizzy and Vanta32,

Great to hear you can make it Frizzy, I think with the right setup your bike will scream around the barossa track. Will make for some exciting racing.

And also Vanta32, Great to hear from someone who has actually been on the track (even though it has been on 4 wheels) It looks like it will be a fast track with plenty of room for passing.
This will make the Winter season this year very exciting with Pooraka Raceway providing the tighter and more technical track, Barossa the larger more open and faster flowing. Will be up to setup and the mix of riding skills for both tracks that will prevail at the end of the season. Good luck to you all and will see you at the track.

Regards Jeremy

thats very true having two tracks for this winter season is going to be tricky and exiting jus a few questions in case of rain the day will go ahead or not? and also are we goona run in both direction at baroSsa or 1. Cant wait to see our elites scream on track Frizzy should be gud fun

Vanta32,

In regards to the rain, If it is heavy on the day, then we will not be able to run the full track for racing. (turn two is quite slippery in the rain).
There is a newly laid section of the track (which is kidney shaped)
which will be fine in the wet, so we will make that decision on the day.
If the round is canceled then we will be looking at using the day as a practice session.
Due to the run-off areas (gravel traps and tyre walls) the track is only usable in one direction which is anti clockwise.
I personally am hoping for a nice sunny day, so everyone put a good word into the weatherman for us all :-)

Regards Jeremy

Hey Benny, time to clean out the riders you have listed as team riders, Marty, Jack, Blair and Jay no longer race. Guess that means you guys have some vacancies in there, not looking to fill positions are you hint hint lmao.

Thumbs up barossa

APBA
To all the pocket bike riders in S.A. this weekend will be the 1st of four race meetings to be at the newly aquired track (BAROSSA ) to our race calander.
This is an APBA event open to ALL riders of 2 stroke pocket bikes and is also the start of the offical winter season in which we (APBA) have been involved with for the last 2 years at the Pooraka track.
This means it is for points and a trophy at the end of the season just what you all have been waiting for and wanting.
Some of you people may think that If I miss one I can make it up, I would like to remind some riders that the last time I raced I came second by 1 point because I missed the equivalant of one round (Something to think about).

Just remember it has be alot of hard work by a few people to keep the dream of having more than 1 track to RACE at on a regular basis, which will help the sport grow.
Pooraka raceway also has a large part to do with our growth as a club as part of our race calander.

p.s. I hope you get to read this.

thanks for reading
