Thumbs up Ride night booked at the pits

Hi all
I have booked the Pits once again for a ride night,Saturday the 17/5/08.
All are welcome to ride. Track open to bikes at 5.00pm.
Also Gav is taking names and numbers at Pooraka for this ride night so see Gav for further details.
This may be the last ride night we all get before the tittles so lets make it a big night.

u could hook up a VN thermo fan to the front of the fairing & run her in on the stand or a pair of rollers ? then it would be under a little less load & you can fine tune the bike for desired power range

Mac, thats a fantastic idea for people who cant get to the track to properly tune their bikes! Are the rollers and conveyebelt salvaged from anything in particular or was it all made for this particular use?

it was & still is a manual treadmill
but you could use old washing machine rollers or anything thats gonna do the job

the treadmill or large heavy rollers create more resistance until they get wound up

on the treadmill the digital trip meter / speedo was good for low speed but went mental after about 35-40ks even gave ya a estimate of how many calories ya would have burnt if ya had ran that far

Hey Ivan
All is good with the Pits but it wont be long until the Tittles get here and I may not be able to book another ride night due to tittles being the month after......But who knows maybe we can sneak one in .
