New racing club in SA SAMRA

Hi everyone
I have just come back from the nationals with Brandon Liam and Jason. A long drive there and back, anyway we had a lot of time to discuss things about racing and through these discussions and from what we have seen at Archerfield think that it would be worth while to form a new pocket bike club.
I also have spoken to Gav at Pooraka and he is keen to help support racing in SA by trying to get Trophy meets up and running a long with his social race meets he already holds.
With all the positives that have been happening in the minimoto world lately in SA I think it would now be the appropriate time to form a new association and have come up with SAMRA.
SAMRA stands for South Australian Minimoto Racing Association. I now feel that as a club we can now finally offer members quite a bit to make their pocket bike racing experience even more enjoyable and memorable with what this proposed club will be able to offer.Just some of the things proposed are to promote a great social race club with a family orientated theme. To promote the sport and help grow the sport. To welcome inter club race meets a long with making the option for members to race interstate and do this at an affordable rate .
These are just some of the ideas that can be made a reality by all and all we need to do is make it happen.
I will be at the track tomorrow evening and would be willing to talk to any one interested in helping form this club or you can post your feelings or opinions on this thread.
In the next week I will try to put together a mission statement (once I have had some more input from potential members) to out line what our goals are and what this club can fully offer its members .

Regards Andrew Reis

Hi Neverwin
All I can say is a new broom sweeps clean......I Hope that all the politics are finished and we can get on with some real club racing and support all the tracks that have supported us in the past.
We have a lot of new faces now and I hope that some of these people are willing to give this club their input along with all its new members.
Dazza thanks for the well wishes and sorry we didn't catch up before leaving on Monday....will give you a call next week.
