Best suggestion I can offer is if you want to ride it around the local streets or parks and keep the motor quiet is JUST DON'T START IT. No complaints and no fines

im only 14 i had to save all my money to get my bike so i dont work and thats the pipe that came with it so im trying to get a air filter and this like that
but is there any where to race if ur 14 going 15 cause at butterfly farm u need to be over 16 or some thing like that

You are only 14, so if the cops stop u just be very polite and say the guy who sold it to u told u that you were allowed to ride it on the road as long as u wear a helmet. They will let u off with a warning. no cop is going to try to do anything to sum freindly polite young boy who was misinformed.
People on this site will tell u not to ride on the rode because ur giving a bad name to pocket bike riders and its illegal etc etc. at the end of the day u want to ride ur bike and the street is the only place u can do it.
as long as ur not doing burnouts etc u shood b fine, u hav a low chance of beng on the road when a cop is in the same spot neway, i was one time and i was stopped yelled at and then let go to walk my bike home. no fine no telling parents (altho mine no it is illegal) nothing liek that.

What about your own saftey? The chances of you getting cleaned up by a car are real good I would say, your eyes are about door handle level on a normal car, a 4WD you probably won't even get up to the wheel nuts. :shock: These clowns (car drivers) don't even see full size motorcycles, what chance have you got? Be careful out there.
My personal opinion is that if you are going to do it illegally you may aswell do it somewhere that is somewhat safe in regards to other road users not seeing you. As i think has already been said, the local industrial area after peak periods ie: after 8pm would be your best bet. Im not condoning it, just expressing where i think would be the safest spot that isnt in anyones way or a licenced racetrack.
lemmiwinks, you make a good pointn but depending on the type of bike etc this guy has. I have a mini chopper, so i am a little big bigger and easier to see, tho i no that car drivers dont even see full sized motorbikes. People on motorbikes realise this and compensate for it. When riding around on a pocket bike or motorbike for that matter you have to assuem that cars WON'T see you. If you assume that they will hit you, then you can take this into account and be much more careful and adjust the way you ride your bike. Also dependign on your bike you can go on footpaths etc. i no this is dangerous for pedestrians thtas why i say depending on you bike. i tried this but my chopper is way too fast for this so i only ride on the road.

If this fellow can do what you suggested then i agree it is the best option. But you have to take into accoutn that he is 14 and can't get himself around. if his parents are willing to drive him to these spots and sit around while he drives up and down a carpark then good luck to him. But if not then riding around the streets is really his only other option.
I've got a huge car park around the corner from my house, and its enclosed real good so its awesome. theres a footy oval in front of it, so and then houses all around it, so its all good.
Hey guys im new here. well any ways im about to buy one. well n e ways go to like a street or alley or something where barley any one goes, especialy cops.. on my street there is NEVER EVER any cops im 13 and im sure they will let us young ones off easily. k peace
if u are worried about cars hitting u,... ride backstreets where not many cars come and whens ones coming go over to the side and slow down a bit n wen they go keep going,.. the road is the only place i ride
