And how much is it to become a member? Here there is something like this I'm not joining it's wayyy toooo expensive.
$75 for AMRA yearly membership (adult).
-$60/event if you prepay before March 11/06. $75/event after March 11/06
-$60 yearly CMA membership needed for insurance
-$160 post dated check that is only paid if you do not help the club

And then test and tune days you don't need to be a member and they are 25 dollars. Thats what I gues I have to goto because I'm not spending 600 dollars on the 8 race events they have. This is the only racing available by the way you guys have it extremely lucky in Australia.

It's not as much of a litigious society here. That is if we get hurt, we don't sue the arse off everybody we can. It all comes down to insurance issues. Saying all that, litigation is getting more popular, so in time the costs will be here as well. People want to blame everybody but themselves when they stuff up

I guess i will be joining afterall. I get the membership for 50 because im under 16, the insurance is 60 and then a 120 dollar postdated check which i get back if i volunteer and help the club ie) being a flag guy.
60 dollars an event and we are going throughout the province and even out of the province for one race with 5 different tracks. There are 8 events in the city and 8 events out of the city

Ooh even cheaper for me now! Including all the membership charges and insurance and stuff I will pay a total of $580 and will get all 8 local race events, and all 8 local test and tune events. Thats only 40 dolars for a race and 20 for a test and tune after all the membership fees which is 50 racing AMRA, 30 test&tune membership AMRA, and 60 insurance CMA. Then I can pay 40 dollars for non-local events if I want to go out to them there will be like 8 more I think.
