There will be a minimoto ride day held at smithton on the 25th of march. The track held the kart national titles last year and is 1100 metres long. It is awesome. If enough people turn up, the club is not adverse to organised racing. Cost for the day is $45 per rider and includes day membership to the TMCC, day liscence through AMA, track hire and entry fee.
Anyone is welcome. Minimum gear requirements are a full face helmet, gloves and full length sturdy clothing.
These days happen on a monthly basis at a number of tasmanian kart tracks, but if there is more support they could become more common. Please contact me with any questions as i am trying to get an independant club up and going, but at the moment these are the only times pocket bikes will have access to these excellent kart tracks. We currently get six bikes regularly from cags to polinis, but more would be excellent.
