ARCHERFIELD NEWS 20/7/08

Round One of the Motul Short Track Racing Series went off well yesterday. It was a beautiful day weatherwise and I am sure everyone enjoyed themselves. For those who could not make Round one, they will already be handicapped as double points for the day was decided with our usual toss of the coin.

Round Two will be run in two weeks time on Sunday August, 3rd.

The Queensland Titles are just a month away on August 23rd and 24th. Nomination forms will be available from this Saturday morning practice. The revised calendar taking us up to December will also be available on Saturday..

As an incentive and starting next round, we will be drawing one category at briefing . The person who wins first place in that category on the day will receive a free entry for his/her next meeting.

We are having a working bee this Saturday afternoon between 1pm and 3.30pm. There will be free track time after 3.30pm for anyone who has a couple of hours to spare to help tidy up around the venue.

If we don't see you Saturday, we will catch you for Round Two.

Annnnyways, for those who havent visited archerfield in the past month or so will be glad to know there is new (blue, white and red i think) ripple strips around the track
