Bad News: 2 more meets at the farm

Guys,

Just had the down low on the Butterfly Farm ..

Rod has stated there are 2 more meets at the track, this means we only have 2 more ride's left there...

Meets are 1st thursday night of each month, and being that there means we only have 2 more rides at this track, after that, who knows...

Lets get together, get to the track and have a few more good rides!

I'm bringing both of my X9's, and plan to ride till i run the tank dry.

It's going to be sad saying goodbye to the track and as i only ever get to see a select few of you guys there, it's going to be a time to catch up a few more times, but theres always emails after it...

see you all there, tell ya mates, ya friends...

cheers

I wonder if rod would give me a discount license. I'll be stuffed if i'm paying for a 1 year license when i'm only going to get to use the track once or twice.

100% hard core
guys if we can get a minimum of 10 riders the track will stay open, your forgetting that rod does not own the track? and eventhough he is a great guy he has a half arse attitude to pocketbikes, rod has caused this problem he stops it than starts it up again than stops it than starts it up again? when you call to see if it is on, the say if there is no more than 10 bikes than the lights will not get turned on.

if they promoted it than there will be heaps of people riding, but they are too lazy to invest into their own buisness, i have been one of the main riders for over the last 4 years rarely missing a night, i'm at the point where i dont care if they shut it down, i will still turn up the first thursday of every month until they shut it down, however wollongong city raceway at kembla grange are backing pocketbikes 110% with riding every tuesday night and racing once a month, they are even prepared to have practise thursday nights too, if more people are going to turn up. support them as they are supporting us, even better kids can ride there too.

Right on Brad.
I don't know what Rod has been hoping to archive by telling us that if there isn't 10 bikes on track the lights aren't going on once it gets dark and all that crap.
I'll be doing what I can do to support Indy. That's the best option for me to get to ride now. WCR is great and all and I really appreciate what they are doing for the sport but It's really getting to be too far and too expensive to travel there to race. What sucks more is that it hurts the wallet so hard to race let alone get in some practice so I can be competitive. Hopefully my circumstances change in the future but I know you understand where I'm coming from. I know even for you Sydney guys Wollongong is a bit of a trek.

For me a trip to indy costs about $70. WCR is $150 and a 500km return trip. A HUGE dent out of the money I have to live on. Indy hurts but I can justify it. It's the nature of the beast I guess.

So lets keep Indy alive and show'em that we want to keep it alive.

while true that this is the case, you have to appreciate that they have handed over the track at all for us to use these last 2 times ive been there have been a massive learning curve. going from never riding at all to a wcr race day in one go.. stuff that!

but i think we can go past 10 people easily. theres always 5 fellows with cags there, myself with two bikes, my best mate is buying a banshee, crash, pocketwog, 100% hardcore, wingnut, kreepa etc etc etc. should be plenty

and wcr isnt too far for race days but practice days on weeknights are out of the question. finish work at 5, one and a half hours to get there and what, two hours, 2.5 hours riding time then back home again for work. a little too much
