Cool class confusion.

Hi

One of my bikes that I would like to race is an aircooled cag. The class specs in the mmmc states:

"
Bikes must be no more than 3.1kw / 4.2 horsepower production* bikes. Bikes may be aircooled 40cc with 3 port barrel. No engine or carburettor upgrades, maximum 15mm carburettor size. "

Where it says "may" is confusing me. I have not modded the engine at all but it came stock (thanks to lammas) with a 49cc engine not the piss weak 40cc. Does it still fit in this class or does it need to go in class 3 (where it will be seriously underpowered)

what you should do is choose a class u want to be in and modify your bike to suit the class.

if you ride your bike in a stock cag class, eventually u might want to upgrade your bike and you will have no experience with the power of your bike and other things like that. this is just me though, id rather not be swapping classes.

and i think there is more competition in the modified cag class

and you might not want to get too comfortable with a certain class if your just going to change because you might have to change your riding style with the different amounts of power, and its easier to make a habit than it is to shake the habit

If your bike is a stock cag, which I think it is, you will be racing in class 1.
Don't worry so much about what class you will be racing in, just get there and enjoy yourself.
