is this the track your thinking of
townsville track.jpg
while i appreciate that the townsville race track may be easier to get it would probably be better to kick start pocket bikes at a track that allready has staff and a bit more public exposure here`s kart mania`s track allthough i don`t know what the owners are like and may not be agreeable
townsville gokart hire.jpg
unless the townsville kart club run pocket bikes in conjunction with their club meets it would make pockets harder to organize
just some thing to think about .

inter city challenges would be cool

even though our cags maybe underpowered i recon at least 4 of us would make that trip(Luke Justin Chrisso and myself heavy air cooled)will need some sprockets but looks like a bit of straight between corners

All good sugestions but everyone is a little put out with the distance of travelling to Mareeba how will they feel to go further. I had in the late part of 2007 contacted the other possible sites including the showgrounds and track at Smithy as well as the speedway. I will recontact all in the very near future. We will need to put a club together first. Needs to be a joint effort as you all well know. Im keen to speek to the council for ideas as well. With my work I have mentioned the need for bike tracks and they are willing to talk. Money is the issue. i will try to get a mailing list for all the riders in Maco and get some feedback. Jud
