This is a bit harsh ain't it ? Why not do Indy once a month then ? At least if it's spread out people might be able to make it with the end result being bigget meets and less cost to the owner to run the night.

And 74 when you say the next few weeks is that the next 2 fortnights or is Indy running weekly again now ?

I feel bad for not going more often but you know what. I can't. I'll hazard a guess and say if you don't live in the Sydney area and are working your going to have a lot of trouble making it too.

How many people actually know about Indy 800 running pocket bikes on a Thursday night who aren't members of the NSW-Minimoto forum ? How many people do you know who have pocket bikes and don't get on the net trauling through forums for info. It's not exactly out there in your face advertising. I'm not suprised by the low numbers. I only first heard about Indy 800 by word of mouth and I suspect that's the way most people know of it. Wouldn't it make sense that a little bit of advertising might help matters a bit ?

Tell me to get off my high horse here if what i'm saying is unjustified. I'm just adding another a view from another prospective here.

Ok get off you high horse & ride on this donkey with me lol lol lol seriously thogh the nsw minimoto club has ran adds in the trading post the local papers hace ran stories we have done displays at bike race meetings & we tried to get out to a huge go kart meeting but got rained out. Also in addition to that i personally have posted it up in as many places as i can this forum is plasted with info & yet not many get off there ass to come out instead prefering to ride in a car park & just make it look bad for all.
Also i have printed off 250 flies & put them up at work in various location, i work for testra so i get around to a lot of places. Indy doesn't do any advertising of the pocket bikes why i don't know i guess they think it's up to us to keep our sport / hobby going.
Indy is still only running fortnightly but i think they have said they'll give it to more goes ( 4 weeks ) to pick up, summer is always better for the bikes we used to have around 20 to 30 bikes every thursday night so you really can't blame the track. SO GUYS THE REST IS UP TO YOU

I was hoping to have my newly rebuilt black X9 2 stroke there but still working on the front nose section plastics and awaiting front and rear calipers as well as a new tank, so i will be running my ol'faithful white 4 stroke X9

Also made some fliers that i am going to be posting around the local here as well as putting some up as far as richmond ...

guys also let the guys at the track know what sort of an effort you are making as i am sure they appreciate it & may hold off a little longer even suggest that it goes to once a month instead of closing totaly, i am sure that when the weather warms up the bike's will return

Suprisingly during the last storms we had there were guys out there running!!, even though it rains in other parts of sydney it may or may not be raining at the track.

The last few times i have been out there (every fortnight), the numbers have been low, so i dont know, it would be a shame to lose a good track, i mean 800metres worth of track is pretty damn cool!...
