| Charity Ride :: list your interest
Hi guys,
Had an idea and need to know how many would be interested in attending.
With tracks and events being too far and between i thought of a way that we could have some fun for a day (legally without being hassled) as well as changing the lives of some very special children at the same time.
What i am trying to plan is a day of riding on a track for a full day, the entry to the event would cover the cost of the track and a donation to the charity (yes its a registered charity - more later), as well as having some racing (various classes).
What we would need to know is:
1. Total amount wishing to attend (to make it worth while)
2. Capacity and type of bike (might organise some races and competitions)
What i will also be doing once we have an idea of numbers, is to contact vendors who would be interested in bringing their wares and bits.
The event would be in sydney and would be organised around the school holidays so that everyone can have a chance at attending.
I dont think anything like this has been done, and i think it might be a fun and safe way to get out, enjoy our bikes in a safe, friendly environment as well as doing it for a good charity.
