Port Elliot Track Saturday 8th September 5pm til 9pm

Hi everyone

No, we didn't forget about any of you, this week has been a tad insane to say the least! Let's just say:
hockey final approaching at breakneck speed
kids flung throughout the universe
me up to my armpits in paper and Gerry up to his armpits in grease and other manlike stuff!

We are open this Saturday for pocket bikes, please remember we've had to change the time back to start at 5pm running through to 9pm.

It turns out myself and my kids will have free time on our hands after the final this Saturday before the partying starts later in the evening, so I'll be on deck at the Port Elliot Track to do the sausage sizzle and see how everyone's going for most of the evening.

Take it easy and take care
Jax

PS Seriously... the last time I looked the calendar said the name of the day was Wednesday!!!

HI to The Pits
Is there the posibility that the track can still be available for use from 3, if you get some one wanting a hire just call us pocketies in, Surley the track is not that busy that you have people there all the time riding the Karts that you can't still fit us in.
It is only a suggestion, it's just nice to get home at a decent hour on a saturday night if things start early. last fortnight was great, a get a decent ride during daylight hours before the dew settles onto the track.
either way will be there next weekend and hopefully I will get out for a ride after such a long lay off with the shoulder.

Hi Pete

It's purely a matter of maths. Last Friday night we had a group of 25 Drivers (who come in and hire the karts from 7pm til 9pm as a regular monthly booking for the last 2 years) at a price per head on average of twice what we charge for a 4 hour evening of pocket bikes per person.

These Adelaide based customers by virtue of actively promoting and expanding their monthly group have not seen a price rise in 2 years. By comparison, with the exception of a loyal few, the pocket bike fraternity have done nothing but backstab and question every move we've made.

We are in the process of becoming affiliated with an interstate pocket bike/minimoto club/association and will be running pocket bike race meetings very shortly, with the aim to run a South Australian Open Championship by their association rules on the last weekend of November 2007.

Entry to all meetings at the Port Elliot Track including State Championships will be to all registered licence holders within the chosen association.

Regards
The Pits

So what you are saying is the Pitts will be an interstate afiliated pocke bike track only. Available only to the interstate club only. Or are we talking AMMA afiliated clubs?

Anyway as i read the post I feel that this needs to be clarified especially with the hard work that some APBA members have done to get racing happening here again.

Dave
