Some testing of the new Blata 50cc bike went on yesterday.
This bike has the full package with all motor parts checked and checked again.
I would like to thank Tony for putting this motor together for me.
And also thanks to Jerry for the crankcase work.

Anyway, once the run in of about 10 to 30 laps finish, Dean took the bike to three quarter throttle and did a 30 second lap with traffic over the whole track.
To give people an idea of what this is like, the fastest lap at South Morang is around 27.4 seconds.
A good bike with a good rider ususally does a 28 -29 second lap.
So at three quarter throttle with traffic doing a 30 second lap, all I can say is this thing is faster and more powerful then many bikes I have seen.
We were using the less grippy PMT 40 tyres at 11.5 degree centigrade.
I just can't wait until the next test day with the SAVA MA tyres and less traffic on the track.
Tuneing and running in was the main aim for the day.
We are running 118 main jet and found that about right at the barametric pressure of 1021 and humity of 68% 11.5 degree centigrade.
More news after next weekend when we will hopefully do some more testing.

Anyone interested in owning one of these bikes, start saving your money.
They will not be cheap compared to the standard Blata WRS, but heaps cheaper than the other Euro brands.

Oz Minimoto is now taking the Blata Elite 14WRR 50cc watercooled a step further with the introduction of the new CNC BZM rod in a gold crankshaft.
Here are a few pictures of the new motor almost ready for testing.

These crankshafts are specialy made in the BZM factory.
I should have the bike sorted by the Melbourne round 3 of the Titles.
