RD RACING is an unknown quantity at this point
the spacer goes between the crancase and the reed block.

i could but just think of the size of your reed block gasket which is about 0.05mm thick = 1/2 mm. the spacer is the same shape but 6mm thick and the colour is white.

What thickness reed spacer is good to use on a fibre glass reed. And if I get a spacer with a fibre glass reed do I take out the reed restrictor?

cheers
Nessy

i have found the 6 mm spacer is quite suitable for cag engines, when using single stage glass reeds i would only recommend the removal of the restrictor if the reeds are good quality, not the $8 specials like on ebay. running the tripple stage reeds is the safest way without restrictors and the use of the spacer block.

100% hard core
arn't you reducing crank pressure by spacing out the reeds? less crank pressure less compression?
and if you were to get better results with the spacer wouldn't they manufactures set that into the bottom end when they are making the crank case?
