Dazza is an unknown quantity at this point
Further testing last weekend come up with some new information on the MA and MB Sava tyres.
These tests were held under race conditions.
The MA tyres worked much better with higher air pressures,(28psi rear 24psi front).
With the lower air pressure the tyre began to squirm after 5 laps.
The higher air pressure allowed for much better grip.
Wear on the rear Sava MA tyres was acceptable, with a possible wear life of around two to three race meetings.
Grip was exceptional using the MA tyres.
We found the set up of using a MA on the front, (pressure 22-24psi) and a MB on the rear, (26-28psi).
This way the Sava MA on the front give exception grip and wear is kept to a minimum, and a Sava MB on the rear for very good grip with also very good tyre life.
Many riders in the UK set their bikes up with a softer front tyre and a slightly harder tyre on the rear.

The verdict is from three riders and my visual assessment.
Sava tyres WILL turn much quicker into and out of the corners than PMT’s.
Both brands are a quality tyre.
MC / MRC $59 to $75 each similar to PMT 40 around $120.00 each
MB / MRB $66 to $86 each similar to PMT 41 around $140.00 each
MA / MRA $78 to $92 each similar to PMT R around $160.00 each

Some will stick with PMT tyres, (they are a great quality tyre).

But, now there is a tyre out there at a very reasonable price and great quality, Sava.
