hey everybody my cag starts but when i get to about half throttle it clonks out then i have to wait a while till it will start again.. does nebody no wat i can do to fix it???i got a new carbi (stock tho) did the same thing, i changed the spark plug it did the same thing, i chaged the head did the same thing wats goin on please help... now i'v changed the ignition but havnt tried that yet... cheers jake HELPPPP!!!

1. try taking apart your carbie and then re-assembling it, but make sure this time round, there will be no air leaks!
2. a loose spark plug will make you loose all your compession, so make sure shes tight, but not too tight.
3. as for the head, well i hope you sealed that good and proper?!
4. the ignition, make sure its not touching the flywheel, about a ATM cards distance off it is good stuff! do you have a good ground?
to check if you got spark, take out the spark plug, still conected to the lead.. put it up against the head and give your bike a pull! you want a nice blue-purple spark!
also could just be your fuel? you can kinda see this by the amount of smoke, or on the spark plug its self.. soz but ive forgoten what colour means what haha!

nah not an atm cards width away, use a business card or a folded piece of paper. an atm card is too far away and will decrease performance

take the fuel line off the carb & see if it has good fuel flow
could be something simple like a blocked fuel filter, a kinked fuel line or the vent hole in the fuel cap is blocked
but it dose sound like the fuel flow is restricted the stock carbs have a problem with the fuel tap rubber moving out of position & restricting flow
so if you have good flow above the tap refit the fuel line & remove the bottom bowl from the carb turn tap on & inspect flow below the tap into the bowl
if it seems restricted its either the tap rubber or blockage in the needle & seat
hey um its a brand new carbi but its a stock one um i got it started today and it did the same thing it idols for eva but if u go past/ close to half throttle it clonks out then u have to wait 3mins or go right away to start it.. um also ther is alot of white smoke out the exhaust.. i turned the gold screw out on the side of the carbi which useually makes it idol at a lower rpm but it didnt change and i almost pulled the hole thing out... um i had a mates delotro on it a while ago and it went fine all the time but i gave that back to him and now this is happening with the stock carbi's... could it be that the stock carbi's are just starving the engine of fuel???? also the idiots that put the bottom thing on the carbi that u push for the fuel they rounded the small screws so i dunno how im gonna beable to get it off any ideas??? cheers jake
also does anybody now were and the cheapest price for a delotro??? will buy a second hand one if anybody wants to sell thers
that is a wky type replica carb my bike came standard with one of those & the stock pocket bike slide carb with tap was a much better carb
did that carb come on your bike or did you put it on yourself as they have a pulse hole like most other diaphragm carbs
the 14/14 dell reps are good if you just want somthing to throw on & not tune
if you want to fine tune then the walbro reps HP kits are ok but with walbros i prefer to go the genuine WT-603
dont forget to get the kit with both carbs as the 14 14 kit comes with alloy inlet & cable , the walbro comes with manifold to fit
yeh i no its a really bad carbi lol i just wanted to get it working aye.. i'v also got the silver stock one too but the bike does the same thing with both carbi's.. um the dell'orto rep 14/14 i think my mates was so yeh one of them would be sick nebody no were i can get em from and how much???? dont wanna spend to much as im selling my bike very soon...
